Lambda Photonics Inc.
was founded on August 1st, 2001 in Shenzhen by photonics
engineers from North America. We focus on R&D, manufacture
and sales of photonics and networking products, such as erbium-doped fiber
amplifiers (EDFA), networking cabling and wiring system,
optical transceivers and fiber-optic
connectors, etc.
The core technologies of our EDFA target first on quickly
and effectively suppressing the cross-gain saturation inside
DWDM EDFAs. Secondly, the maintenance function of our EDFA
accelerates the monitoring and maintaining at each EDFA node and
tremendously lowers the system cost. All of above techniques
are unique in mainland China. We are aiming to develop
state-of-art C/L band EDFAs.
We make excellent fiber optic patch cords with all kinds of
connectors, attenuator, coupler/splitter, DWDM, meanwhile 10 Gig optical transceivers are also
our strategic products. Optical instrumentation, such as
tunable laser and power meter will be coming soon.
Lambda cabling system was released to facilitate broadband
networking wiring.
Lambda VoIP series of products offers the most challenging
solution to long distance and enterprise internal phone
calls.

The key R&D team consists of former Nortel Networks
Equinox (OC-768) and JDS Uniphase engineers and researchers.
The company invests 10% of the sales on R&D each year. The company sets 15% of its total stock to outstanding R&D
